About Us

It has been a dream of mine to open a bookshop and have been making plans for a few years now. So, when I lost my job I thought what better time then now. I have been working in bookstores for about 15 years and I am very passionate about books and reading. I love to read Horror, Comedy, and Speculative Fiction. The weirder the better.

My reading journey started in Middle School with the American Girl and Goosebumps series’. I don’t read as much as I would like and I spend far too much time creating RPG campaign content that my players will never see. I will try any genre at least once and I love discovering new authors.

Faith has definite opinions about things and is not afraid to give you a piece of her mind. She is a homebody that prefers working from the shadows. Her favorite thing to read is none of your business.

Cha Cha is always on top of things: from daily tasks and projects to shoulders and shelves. Nothing escapes her notice. Cha Cha is always looking for the next great adventure story.

Inky is a majestic prince and like all princes he has exactly two brain cells. Both of which he uses to look his best. He always judges a book by it’s cover.

Babs loves a good nap and is always looking for her next place to cuddle up. If it isn’t Hygge it isn’t for her. Her favorite type of book is cozy.

Edgar is actually not a cat, she is in fact a full-bodied apparition in the shape of a cat. Her attempts to frighten others only ever result in frightening herself. She is always the first one to join a meeting… when it’s catered. She is always on the look out for her next favorite food/cookbook.

Silvia is not afraid of anything and she is rarely surprised. She is very curious and wants to know everything that is going on. The idiom “Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back” was her senior quote. Her favorite thing to read is non-fiction.
